Today in chemistry, went briefly talked about the coin project and how there is a vocab quiz tomorrow. vocabulary needs to be done tonight for hw, even though we had the weekend to do it. We also worked on the packet as a class and did notes and worked with our table on a little exercise.

CHEM

Today in class, we mainly worked on our note packet and learned about how important it is to conserve our resources. This goes along with the four R's: rethinking, reduce, re-use, and recycling.

Our HW for tonight is to complete pages 48, 49, and 50 in our notes... GET TO IT!

Today in class we worked with equations more and we took more notes. Homework was to do a worksheet. We also may have a test on equations on monday or tuesday of next week.

In class we did notes and went over some of the bookwork that was assigned for homework when we had the sub the beginning of the week. Simkowski also did a lab for us to show how magnesium and other things react to water. Homework was to finish the vocab for the crossword and quiz tomorrow.

This post is for yesterday. Yesterday in class we did research and used our notes to conduct an experiment in individual groups on the fish kill. In groups of 2-4 we put together a power point based on the info we were given in the tan packet with all the numbers. With this packet we individually put the info from the packet into graphs using microsoft excel. Today we presented our powerpoints using all the info we gathered yesterday.

Today:

1) We began by putting together and turning in our Unit 1C packets and then turning in our labs

2) Then we played a game of Jeopardy for review.

3)Finally, we took the test.

HOMEWORK: Read all of section 1D (pages 85 to 99) and underline the important details.

Today

1) We did a bell-ringer, which was Unit 1C.9 Content Reading (gray sheet)

Today in class we got a new "best friend", which is the temperature and solubilioty of ionic solids. we went over what the whole chart and did some problems to eplain why we use the chart. we did notes with everything. we also got a bunch of hand outs like notes, a reading guide, and a supplement worksheet.

Alright today in class we did a bell ringer and took a quiz, then we finished up the notes and are starting to find out what was the cause of the fish kill, the homework was to turn in the water lab tomorrow.

Alrighty, so today in class we got our tests back and graded them, We also took the first half of the Elements Test/Quiz, and then we took some notes, and we got our yellow "Best Friends", and im pretty sure thats it

Well, today in class we filled out our note packets. We also received a few gray worksheets to prepare for our test. On friday we have a quiz on these certain elements that is on the orange piece of paper. We discussed what was gonna be on the test and what all we can do to do our best on the test. Looking over our note packet that we filled out will help a lot. We also filled out a chart on our gray sheets.

Today in class, we filled out part of our note packet. Then we did a crossword puzzle. This prepared us for the vocab quiz we had to take. As a class, we recieved a sheet to put together our packets.tonight for hw i have pg. 50 1-14. There is a test thursday.

Today we switched to "A" lunch, and then did a lab on the taste of different kinds of water. Then we took notes, and did some drawings or examples of elements and compounds in the notes packet.
