Today in chemistry, went briefly talked about the coin project and how there is a vocab quiz tomorrow. vocabulary needs to be done tonight for hw, even though we had the weekend to do it. We also worked on the packet as a class and did notes and worked with our table on a little exercise.

Today in class, we mainly worked on our note packet and learned about how important it is to conserve our resources. This goes along with the four R's: rethinking, reduce, re-use, and recycling.

Our HW for tonight is to complete pages 48, 49, and 50 in our notes... GET TO IT!

This post is for yesterday. Yesterday in class we did research and used our notes to conduct an experiment in individual groups on the fish kill. In groups of 2-4 we put together a power point based on the info we were given in the tan packet with all the numbers. With this packet we individually put the info from the packet into graphs using microsoft excel. Today we presented our powerpoints using all the info we gathered yesterday.

Today in class we got a new "best friend", which is the temperature and solubilioty of ionic solids. we went over what the whole chart and did some problems to eplain why we use the chart. we did notes with everything. we also got a bunch of hand outs like notes, a reading guide, and a supplement worksheet.

Well, today in class we filled out our note packets. We also received a few gray worksheets to prepare for our test. On friday we have a quiz on these certain elements that is on the orange piece of paper. We discussed what was gonna be on the test and what all we can do to do our best on the test. Looking over our note packet that we filled out will help a lot. We also filled out a chart on our gray sheets.
